GG Genetics

Founded in 2015 by two cannabis pioneers, Joesy Whales and Lone Watty, GG Strains emerged from the heart of Sin City, Las Vegas, Nevada. Both seasoned experts in every aspect of medical cannabis cultivation and marijuana breeding. Together, they have honed their craft over the years, developing a portfolio of outstanding cannabis strains.

The journey began with the release of Original Glue (GG4), the flagship strain of GG Strains Genetics. In 2014, GG4 made its mark at the High Times San Bernardino Medical Cannabis Cup, aiming to secure a top 3 placement. Not only did it meet this goal, but it surpassed all expectations by clinching 1st place (then known as Gorilla Glue 4). Later that year, GG4 repeated its success at the High Times cup in Michigan, securing another 1st place victory. This remarkable strain also dominated the High Times Jamaica World Cup, claiming 1st, 3rd, and 4th places. And the success story continued, with another triumphant win in October 2019 at the High Times Cup in Oklahoma.

As the legal cannabis sector evolved, Joesy Whales and Lone Watie enlisted the expertise of Cat to assist with the operational, marketing, and cultivator advocacy aspects of GG Strains LLC.
